It takes all sorts to supply a town and its fighting forces, those with the skills are highly valued. To complete repair or craft an item players will have to fulfil a time requirement on the project. Even weapons and shields can be damaged and will need to be fixed.

Salvaging materials from an existing object is relatively easy as you are taking apart an object for raw materials. You can only salvage 1 piece of raw material from an object.

It takes 1 min of roleplay to salvage an item then you can exchange the object for materials with a Ref.

A player can only salvage 3 times a day.

As an apprentice in your craft, you have learnt to repair items as well as honing your salvaging skills. Repairing an item - be it a sword, piece of armour, or accessory - will require a firm but gentle hand and the relevant materials.

The cost of repairing an item is 1 piece of the item’s main raw material per point of damage to the item.  It takes 3 mins of roleplay per point of damage to repair an item back to full health.

For example, repairing a broken wooden shield requires 1 piece of wood and 3 mins of roleplay to raise the HP of the shield by 1 point - a completely broken shield would take 3 pieces of wood and 9 mins of roleplay to fix entirely.

Materials are to be turned in at a Ref with a small explanation of what you’ve done.

This skill also adds +3 to the amount of times a player can salvage per day, bringing the total to 6 a day.

M A S T E R

You are confident enough to create items from scratch, as well as further honing your Repairing and Salvage skills.

Salvaging - A master can salvage a total of 12  items a day.
Repairing - Time taken to repair reduced to 1 minute per point.

Making an item from scratch:
- Requires 5 raw materials: iron/wood/bronze/silver/gold - whatever the visrep looks like it’s made from.
- Takes 30 minutes of roleplay to make something from scratch - eg. a sword, a new shield, a single location of armour (chest piece, single arm, single leg.)

Materials are to be turned in at a Ref with a small explanation of what you’ve done.
